Smoked Oysters
Posted on December 22, 2022

“Classic” oysters, oysters that are just smoked, are excellent.
In one bite, we get to taste the oyster as well as a hint of smoke, which means that, clearly, it can’t be anything but delicious!
Here is my easy oyster recipe:
Ingredients:
- 12 Lucky Lime oysters
Preparation:
- Put the applewood pellets in the smoker and preheat the device at 160°F.
- Place the oysters on the smoker’s cooking grid, in indirect heat, and let them smoke and open up for about 1 h; according to the desired smoke-taste intensity.
- Remove the oysters from the smoker, take out their top shell, serve and enjoy!
*If you don’t have a smoker, you can fill the House of BBQ Experts’ Smoker Box or the House of BBQ Experts’ Chip-O-Nator with applewood chips to smoke your food. Make sure to place the accessory on top of a minimum-light burner, and, if possible, as far away as possible from the oysters.
Happy grilling!
