Salt block-cooked scallops

By: Max

The great thing about scallops is that you don’t need a lot of ingredients to pay them homage.

Here, I am giving you a super easy and quick recipe that will make everyone at the table happy. (Yes, even the kids!)

Are you ready for it? Yes? Let’s go!

Tool required:

Ingredients :

Preparation :

  1. Place the salt block in the direct cooking zone, and preheat the grill to maximum temperature.
  2. Meanwhile, spread the scallops on a towel, and fold it over itself to cover the seafood. Pat dry.
  3. Place the scallops on the salt block, and sprinkle some Jamaican Jerk dry marinade over them. Squeeze the half lemon over the scallops to drizzle them with juice, and let them cook. Turn the scallops over and season and “juice” them up again on the other side. (Cooking should take about 1 min per side; scallops are ready when golden brown.)
  4. When the scallops are cooked enough, remove them from the grill.
  5. Serve and enjoy every bite!

Happy grilling!
