How to make Chocolate Candy Bacon
Three words you never thought you’d hear: Chocolate Candy Bacon. Yes, it exists and it’s a delicacy waiting to be made by you. The best part about the following recipe is its simplicity: it doesn’t take long to create and it’s not difficult at all. The only real question is: how many slices of Chocolate Candy Bacon will you take down in one sitting?
One of the best parts of this recipe is that it really doesn’t take a lot. You don’t need to be an expert in grilling, you don’t need to be a dessert expert or even a big bacon cook. If you follow my rules, you’ll be able to make sweet chocolate candy bacon and immediately start serving it. No sweat: you can definitely do this! I got you! Let’s do this.
For four servings
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 16 minutes
BBQ temperature: 200°C (400°F)
12 slices of 1/2 inches thick bacon
4 tablespoons of House of BBQ Experts Cake spice mix
1/2 cup (125 mL) of chocolate sauce of your choice
Preheat the barbecue for indirect grilling.
Sprinkle spices on each side of your bacon. Cook on indirect grill 8 minutes per side, turning often, until tender and dry.
Serve bacon with the chocolate sauce.
