All-purpose cheese, bacon, and leek dip

This dip, OMG! 🤤

It surprises me every time.

I can dip chicken wings, chips, bread, veggies in it, or else, EVERYTHING goes well with it! 😳

Craving something at night? This dip is the answer. Invited somewhere and need to bring something to eat? Again, this dip is the way to go. Honestly, it is truly amazing! 😍

Try it and I assure you, you’ll LOVE it. It’ll become your favorite dip! 👌



  1. Preheat the grill to 400°F with a direct and an indirect cooking zone.
  2. Cook the bacon slices on both sides in the indirect cooking zone, and sear all sides of the leek in the direct cooking zone.
  3. Using a knife, slice the onion into thin strips and chop the chives and crispy bacon slices. Let rest separately.
  4. Place the cast-iron skillet onto the grid, over the side burner*, and heat the oil at the highest setting.
  5. When the oil is hot, add the onion pieces to the skillet, and sprinkle them with some Explorator dry marinade. Allow the onions to caramelize, while stirring occasionally.
  6. Once the onions have a golden color, add the grated cheddar cheese, the cream cheese, the bacon bits, and the mayonnaise to the mixture. Sprinkle some Booster flavor enhancer over everything, and mix the preparation until smooth.
  7. Remove the outer, grilled “leaf” from the leek, then slice what’s left of the leek very thinly (the green part too!).
  8. Add the leek slices to the dip and mix.
  9. Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl, sprinkle the top of the dip with chive pieces, then serve with crisps, raw vegetables or other foods.
  10. Enjoy!

*If the grill doesn’t have one, place the skillet at the center of the grill, in indirect heat, and increase the temperature of the burners around it to the max.
