The best Surf n’ Turf stuffed dumpling recipe

Sometimes you just need to treat yourself with a beautiful, delicious treat of a meal. For this occasion, I want you to grill up my Surf n’ Turf Stuffed Dumpling with Lobster recipe. It’s luxurious, filling and satisfying.
Surf n’ Turf stuffed dumpling with Lobster
2 dumplings:
- 1 lobster (or lobster meat equivalent)
- 680g (1.5 lbs) ground beef not too lean
- 1/2 cup (125ml) strong cheddar cheese
- 15ml (1 tbsp) fresh coriander
- 15ml (1 tbsp) Wafu sauce
- 5ml (1 tsp) lemon zest
- 10 small capers
- 1 avocado
- House of BBQ Experts Sweet Lemon Sauce to taste
- House of BBQ Experts Montreal spice rub to taste
Preparation:
Lobster: Chop the coriander, cheese, avocado and capers and mix everything with the lobster meat. Add the lemon zest and Wafu sauce.
- Combine ground beef with House of BBQ Experts Montreal spice rub.
- Put the ground beef in the pan.
- Stuff with the lobster mixture.
- Close the top and make sure the meat is well sealed.
- Seal with House of BBQ Experts Sweet Lemon Sauce.
- Indirectly grill for 10-15 minutes with smoking option and uniform temperature of 350°F and transfer to direct cooking for 1 minute on each side.
- Serve (only the dumpling or burger-mounted)
PAIRING: spicy mayonnaise
Poutine Dumpling
2 dumplings:
- 680g (1.5 lbs) ground beef not too lean
- 125ml (1/2 cup) cheese curds
- 2 thin slices of potatoes
- 15ml (1 tbsp) House of BBQ Experts Caribbean spice rub
- 15ml (1 tbsp) House of BBQ Experts Tex Max spice rub
- 10ml (2 tsp) avocado oil
- House of BBQ Experts Ketchot Sauce
Preparation:
Potato: Brush the potato slices with avocado oil and sprinkle House of BBQ Experts Tex Max spice rub. Grill 2 minutes on each side over medium heat.
- Mix ground beef with House of BBQ Experts Caribbean spice rub
- Put the ground beef in the pan.
- Stuff with the cheese curd preparation.
- Pour House of BBQ Experts Ketchot Sauce over the cheese curds.
- Add the potato slices to the mixture.
- Close the top and make sure the meat is well sealed.
- Grill in indirect cooking for 10-15 minutes with smoking option and uniform temperature of 350°F and transfer to direct cooking for 1 minute on each side.
- Serve (only the dumpling or burger-mounted)
Classic Dumpling
2 dumplings:
- 340g (3/4 lb) not too lean ground beef
- 340g (3/4 lb) ground veal
- 125ml (1/2 cup) feta cheese
- 1/4 cup (65ml) bacon
- 15ml (1 tbsp) green onion
- 15ml (1 tbsp) fried onion / breadcrumbs
- 5ml (1 tsp) House of BBQ Experts Montreal spice rub
- 5ml (1 tsp) Argentina BBQ Quebec spices
- House of BBQ Experts Maple Bourbon sauce
Preparation:
- Combine ground beef and veal with BBQ Quebec spices.
- Put the minced meat in the mold.
- Stuff with the preparation of feta cheese, bacon, green onion and fried onion.
- Pour the House of BBQ Experts Maple Bourbon sauce over the mixture.
- Close the top and make sure the meat is well sealed.
- Grill in indirect cooking for 10-15 minutes with smoking option and uniform temperature of 350°F and transfer to direct cooking for 1 minute on each side.
- Serve (only the dumpling or burger-mounted)
