Key Lime Pie

I often have to get out of my comfort zone both in the kitchen or while working at House of BBQ Experts, and it’s never a dull moment. I’m a person who likes to cook a lot. I like to cook even more so for the people I love who get to taste it! So I’m offering this amazing key lime pie recipe made on my 24-inch Weber Summit charcoal barbecue.

My family, friends and colleagues all love key lime pie because they always tell me. I wanted to please them by cooking this classic key lime pie strain on the barbecue. What could be better than a lime pie? How about a lime pie with a slight charcoal aroma? It’s actually amazing.

After I finally baked this pie for the office, everyone seemed to be jealous of my recipe. So here it, my key lime pie easy recipe, for everyone to share:




  • 1 cup graham crumbs or enough to cover the bottom of your pie plate
  • ⅓ Cup of melted butter
  • 1 C. cornstarch or 2 tsp. flour tea
  • ¾ Cup of lime juice
  • ⅓ Cup of sour cream
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 Box of condensed milk
  • 1 Cup of 35% cream
  • 3 tsp powdered sugar



  1. Preheat BBQ to 350 ° F
  2. In a bowl mix graham crumbs and melted butter
  3. Spread this mixture in a pie plate (don’t forget to put some on the edges) and put on the BBQ for 15 minutes
  4. Take out the plate and let the crust cool
  5. Combine cornstarch, lime juice, sour cream, eggs and condensed milk in a large bowl
  6. Pour this mixture into the crust
  7. Cook on the bbq for 30 minutes
  8. Put the pie in the fridge for 3 hours
  9. Before serving prepare the whipped cream by mixing with the electric mixer the 35% cream and the icing sugar
  10. Garnish the pie to your taste with the whipped cream
  11.  Serving your guests
